Today while chatting with a friend on facebook I noticed a little redesign.  

Before facebook chat used to look like the picture below  The person who you are chatting with would have their photo at the top, and while you chat it would just show the persons name and for your messages it would say “me.”

Well today a new redesign went in to place, and this is what it looks like. 

Now for each message you see the users thumbnail, and they took away the time stamp.  I think this is a nice change for facebook chat, since chat has been pretty much the same for a couple of years now.

• Have you gotten this redesign pushed to your account?
• What other features would you like to see incorporated into facebook chat?  Video/voice chat?
